Features include a detachable water tank, three temperature settings, auto shut-off, and retractable cord. After filling the detachable water tank, plug in the base unit, and select your desired heat setting. This lightweight iron takes only one minute to reach its maximum heat setting of 392-degrees. After removing the iron from the base, the user has two and a half minutes of ironing at the selected temperature, six full minutes before the iron becomes cool. Place the iron back in the base when shifting garments to help maintain your heat setting.
Quilting Stencils
Patterns are effortlessly transferred onto fabrics using chalk powder and a pounce pad for precision placement. This fine quality chalk powder (sold separately) cannot be rubbed off by hand but can be easily washed away or brushed off with a soft lint brush. White chalk powder can even be ironed off (DO NOT iron colored chalks).
Chalk Pounce Pads
Pounce Pad Chalks are available in a variety of colors for use with both dark and light fabrics. To use, lay your desired stencil on your fabric and gently brush over the screen with your chalked pounce pad. When you remove the stencil, a perfectly chalked quilt design will be visible. Quilt over the chalk design then remove the excess chalk by either washing it away or brushing it away with a lint brush. White chalk can be ironed away or heated away with a hairdryer. DO NOT iron colored chalks as they contain dye that will heat set into fabrics.
