Looking to become a quilter? Join Ellie the Quilter live for a 6 week virtual course, Quilting for Beginners!

In this signature course, you'll learn all about the quilting basics: fabric, thread, notions, cutting skills, basic/traditional beginner quilting blocks, making binding, etc. The course will cover 12 basic quilting blocks, building in difficulty and by week 5, you will begin constructing your own quilt!

The course meets for 90 minutes virtually each week, and will help you create your own supportive quilting community of other beginning learners.

In addition to the weekly group sessions, you'll also have a weekly 30 minute individual virtual "check in" with Ellie the Quilter to go over your progress and help you troubleshoot any beginner issues that come up. 

This course includes:

60 minute virtual orientation the week before class starts

An extensive Learners Guide with patterns and glossary

90 minute weekly virtual group sessions

30 minute weekly individual coaching sessions

20% off any Mojave Farms and Grace Company products

A "graduation" custom quilt kit of your choice as a next project (valued at $85)

October 2: Orientation - 5-6 pm PST

October 9: Week 1 - 5-6:30 pm PST

October 16: Week 2 - 5-6:30 pm PST

October 23: Week 3 - 5-6:30 pm PST

October 30: Week 4 - 5-6:30 pm PST

November 6: Week 5 - 5-6:30 pm PST

November 13: Week 6 - 5-6:30 pm PST

Individual Check-in Coaching will be set up during orientation.

Upon purchasing the course, you will be sent a confirmation email. Orientation schedule and learners guide will follow by email, a few days before the orientation date. It is strongly recommended that you print the patterns and learners guide, but is not mandatory.

**This class uses "Google Meet" for the virtual classes and individual coaching. You will be emailed all of the invite links a few days before the orientation date. Accepting the invitation will add it automatically to your Gmail calendar. Please ensure your device is equipped and has given permission to the camera and microphone. 

*Refunds will not be provided if you miss a class or are unable to complete the course, however you can be added into the next round of classes to make them up.
